Although perfection is practically impossible to come by, today was close enough for me and my lady. The weather was ideal and we enjoyed our surroundings. I forged my way to the eighty percent mark of the book, mentioned in an earlier post, which has currently absorbed my interest. The food has been excellent. Plans for tomorrow call for effort and a more self-sacrificing spirit, but today oozed relaxation.
On a brief trip back to our apartment I deliberately went the opposite way along the 11th floor corridor to video one of its peculiar architectural features. For some reason videos don't seem to play well on this blog but, for better or for worse, here it is ...
I am unable to confirm whether this is where Luke Skywalker learned that Darth Vader was his father.
