Got up, prepared for our meeting, and went to it. On the third bus stop we were eight Witnesses aboard chatting it up in a lively way. Here it's easy to tell a man who is on his way to the meeting. He wears a tie.
The talk was entitled "Appreciating the Marvels of Creation" which is one I have in my own repertory. I enjoyed this speaker's reference to the other planets in our solar system as giant vacuum cleaners. When large meteors enter our solar system the much bigger planets do in fact draw them to themselves thereby protecting the earth from calamity. I recall a while ago seeing reports and photos of a gigantic meteor crash onto Jupiter and scientists expressing what a catastrophe it would have been if it had hit earth instead. Not much chance with Jumbo Jupiter in the neighborhood. So there is something else to be thankful for.
Tomorrow we hope to visit a place called The Indian Market. Stay tuned for photos, descriptions, and experiences.
