From the opposite side of the bridge, and from a greater distance than this cropped photo suggests, I turned and took the shot below. All of us married folks feel nothing but good wishes toward them, right? We certainly don't want to keep all the happiness for ourselves.
A spectacularly decorated wall.
I may have mentioned how I like the open style of architecture
possible in Mexico, but the above example is overdoing it.
The Marina with its out-of-service tower. But there is
a convenience store at the base.
I would have felt much more comfortable if this sign had said,
"there are crocodiles in the water."
This lonely road curled away from the Marina and my first
impulse was to go and see what was up there. My second
impulse, which I obeyed, was to refrain from doing that.
On the way back the bride and groom, and their photographer,
had meandered over to the nearby golf course. I took a
parting shot.
Meanwhile the sisters were in Ixtapa
enjoying a cool drink in the shade. I
think it may have taken two waiters
to carry that drink to Linda.

On the beach at sunset, I captured one pelican in flight while
his companion raised a splash diving for a fish (right). How
these creatures can dive repeatedly from the heights, head first
into shallow water, strike their heads on the bottom, and remain
sane is a mystery to me.
Sun on the horizon. Ahhhh!
And so it goes.
Quote of the day:
"To consult the rules of composition before making a picture is a little like consulting the law of gravitation before going for a walk.”
