Tweaking Nature

Our first glimpse of a morning mist.

Since Carol and Linda had made arrangements for a pedicure, and the practitioner was coming to our condo to ply her mysterious arts, I made a strategic retreat onto the streets of Ixtapa. Rather than hang around during a Foot Fest, I preferred to set my own hoofs to strolling along, straw cowboy hat against the sun, meditating, and keeping a corner of one eye alert to anything photogenic .

Although this tree is eye-catching, I believe it betrays somebody is unclear on the concept. Trees have a priceless ability to grace the dominant rectangular hunks of buildings with free-form relief. Why fit in when you can stand out? Well, maybe it does stand out ... in an uptight, edgy-hedgy sort of way.

Moving on to trees that know how to relax ...
Twins with a gift for symmetry.

An abundance of flowered trees also cast their cheer upon the passing pedestrian ...

If one were to do a painting of the above
scene, it might look like the image below:
 Then again, it might not.

But speaking of painting (ahem) ...

Quote of the Day:
“If you ever drop your keys into a river of molten lava, let 'em go, because man, they're gone.”
- Jack Handy

Thumbs up to the pedi ! So that is where one must go for the criss cross patch and glitter finish.

I would attempt to paint those flowers , abstract of course.
