Pooled Resources

Today we had no appointments to keep, no errands to run, no meeting to attend, no agenda at all, so we seized the opportunity to rest by the pool. Carol and Linda are shown below toning up the tan. I hope you appreciate this photo because I risked dropping my iPhone in the pool while wading over to get it. Next time I bring my pocket camera. The above comments are not to suggest we spent the afternoon doing nothing. It just looked an awfully lot like like it.

The afternoon offered me opportunity to take a photo that enabled me to complete properly yesterday's blog entry. Please refer back to it for the added photo.

Below we see high-steppin' Bertie. It was a nice day so he thought he'd get in some aerobic walking. These nervy creatures like to stop by the pool for a drink which they supplement when possible by helping themselves to any unattended lunch. Such was the fate of Jack and Linda's lunch today. The other day I saw one of these creatures fly toward me from across the pool carrying a red Heinz Ketchup pouch in his beak (I miss some of the best shots). What's lunch without condiments, huh?

Bye Bye Black Bird.

And so it goes.

Glad you could get a day off during your two months off. ;)
